Phone Photography

iPhone photography was first popularised by Chase Jarvis. I was so taken aback then because I questioned myself why a pro like him who has the best camera equipments would want to shoot on a 2 megapixels camera? After looking at his iPhone photography portfolio, I found the ANSWER!

Storytelling isn’t about having super megapixels; photography isn’t about high-tech equipments. It is about having fun shooting with whatever gear you have that is near you. I feel that this type of photography frees me from the tech which allows me to completely let loose and just have plain fun with photography.

While many shoot with their fancy iPhones, I shoot with my Nokia 5130.
